Cura Tips
- Profile compatibility: Ensure profiles are compatible with your Cura version. Profiles from much newer or older versions may not import correctly.
- Printer selection: Select the correct printer before importing profiles. Some settings are printer-specific.
- Custom profiles: Imported profiles appear in the "Custom" section, separate from Cura's built-in profiles
- Material restart: You may need to restart Cura after importing materials for them to appear in dropdowns
- Test prints: Always test new profiles with a small calibration object before printing large models
